Xiaomi launches its Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro phones:
At an event in China, the brand new Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro were launched by Xiaomi. Currently, these new devices have just been launched in China, and the company was going to launch them worldwide on February 23, a day prior to the commencement of MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2020. But since the tech convention has been canceled, there is no fixed date for the launch.
Xiaomi’s new devices claim to provide the best specifications in their range. Both Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro have similar specifications for the most part, but the Pro version is better in terms of internal storage, camera setup and a different battery. As of now, there has not been any confirmation about when the devices would be available in India.
Both the devices work on the latest Snapdragon 865 SoC processor and are compatible with 5G. The Mi 10 has a 4780mAh battery with 30W charging. The Pro version has a smaller battery with 4500mAh capacity, but this battery can be charged much faster with 50W charging.

The front camera is located in a punch-hole and is a 20MP unit. While launching the phones, Xiaomi claimed that the Mi 10 Pro got a score of 124 in the DxOMark testing.
Xiaomi has provided a display panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and for smoother user experience, the smartphones have a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The phones come with a curved AMOLED screen with a contrast ratio of 5000000:1 which allows you to take the brightness up to 1120 nits. The screen also supports a DCI-P3 color gamut for better accuracy and HDR 10+ for enhanced viewing experience.
