Twitter users like the concept of squats for free tickets at Delhi’s railway station:
In order to make the people of India fitter, Indian Railways has decided to help passengers stay healthy and save money as well. A machine has been installed at Delhi’s Anand Vihar Railway Station, which will issue a free platform ticket if you do 30 squats in front of it, in 180 seconds.
This innovative idea got a thumbs-up from Twitter users. A 25-second video clip of a young man performing squats in front of the machine was posted on the social media platform, which led to positive reactions.
The clip was posted by Railway Minister Piyush Goyal. With the post, he wrote, “Saving with fitness too: A unique experiment has been conducted to encourage fitness at Delhi’s Anand Vihar Railway station. Platform tickets can be had for free after exercising in front of the machine installed here.”
Till now, the video has managed to get 167k views and hundreds of comments.
The efforts by the Railways have been very appreciated by the Twitter users. One of the netizens wrote, “Wow! This is really great. Great innovation to motivate for fitness… Great respect for @PiyushGoyal, one of the best ministers.”
