Terming it as the world’s largest overall relief package, BJP National President JP Nadda said, Modi has supported every section of the society by announcing a relief package of 20 lakh crores. This is equivalent to 10% of the country’s GDP. This initiative of the Prime Minister will create a self-reliant India.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted, ‘In every decision of the Modi government, the interest of the country and the countrymen has been at the centre. A special package of about 20 lakh crore rupees announced by the Modi government is reflective of this. Which includes the interests of the poor, farmers, middle class and business class of the country. This will empower every section and make the country self-reliant.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman tweeted, ‘Indian economy has gained strength in its various dimensions. Now, we can connect with the world with confidence. We aim for overall change and incremental changes. We will turn the challenge of the epidemic into an opportunity. #AatmanirbharBharat will be united rather than isolated. ‘
The Prime Minister said, the government had made the economic announcements related to the Corona crisis, which were the decisions of the Reserve Bank and, adding the economic package that is being announced today, it is about 20 lakh crore rupees. This package is about 10 percent of India’s GDP.
This package will give a new impetus to the development journey of the country in 2020, the self-reliant India campaign. In order to prove the resolve of self-reliant India, land, labor, liquidity and law have all been emphasized in this package.
